Carpet Corner is a family-owned and operated business that has proudly served the Tampa Bay area since 1968. Specializing in high-quality flooring solutions, we offer a broad range of products including laminate, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), tile, and carpet. In addition to flooring, our expanded product lines include kitchen and bathroom cabinets, countertops, knobs, and a full range of commercial flooring options.
In 1987, Carpet Corner joined Carpet One, a network of over 2,000 stores, which provided us with enhanced buying power while allowing us to maintain our unique identity as a locally owned business. After Howard Mayer retired in 1993, his son Jon Mayer took over the business, continuing the family legacy of service and quality. Ten years ago, Jon’s son-in-law, Kevin Hoover, joined Carpet Corner, later becoming the managing partner and further strengthening our leadership team.
