Who We Are

Built on Integrity, Quality & Community

Carpet Corner is a family-owned and operated business that has proudly served the Tampa Bay area since 1968. We specialize in high-quality kitchen cabinetry, countertops, bathroom renovations, and specialty spaces like wet bars and laundry rooms.

In 1987, Carpet Corner joined Carpet One, a network of over 2,000 stores, which provided enhanced buying power while allowing us to maintain our unique identity as a locally owned business.

After Howard Mayer retired in 1993, his son Jon Mayer took over, continuing the family legacy. Ten years ago, Jon's son-in-law Kevin Hoover joined Carpet Corner, later becoming the managing partner and further strengthening our leadership team.

Today, Carpet Corner remains a trusted destination for both residential and commercial customers across Tampa Bay.
