Countertop Selection & Installation

From Samples to Installed — One Company

We keep quartz samples in our Holiday showroom so you can compare colors, finishes, and veining in person — under real lighting, next to your cabinet choice. You won't find the right countertop staring at a screen. You'll find it when you can hold a sample next to a cabinet door in a well-lit room.

We don't carry full slabs on-site, but we work with quality stone yards that stock a wide range of materials. Once you have a direction from our showroom samples, we coordinate with our stone yard partners so you can see the actual slabs before your countertop is cut from them.

Templating, fabrication, and installation are all coordinated through us — one company, one point of contact. If anything needs attention after installation, you call us.

Materials

Quartz, Granite & Quartzite

Every material has tradeoffs. Here's the honest version — not a sales pitch for whichever one has the best margin.

Most popular
Quartz
Engineered stone made from natural quartz crystals bound with resin. Consistent in color and pattern, non-porous by nature, and doesn't require sealing. Holds up especially well in Florida's humidity.
  • Non-porous — no sealing required
  • Consistent color and pattern, no surprises
  • Resistant to staining and everyday spills
  • Wide range of colors from solid to heavily veined
  • Holds up well near windows and in humid climates
Natural stone
Granite
Quarried natural stone — every slab is unique. Genuinely heat-resistant and extremely durable. Needs periodic sealing to prevent staining, especially in a busy kitchen. The natural variation is part of the appeal.
  • Unique natural patterns — no two slabs alike
  • Extremely heat-resistant surface
  • Wide range of colors and movement levels
  • Requires sealing every 1–3 years
  • Long-term durability when properly maintained
Marble look, harder
Quartzite
Natural metamorphic stone — often confused with quartz (they're different) or marble (it's harder and more durable). If you love the soft veining of marble but want something that holds up better in a kitchen, quartzite is worth a close look.
  • Dramatic marble-like veining and movement
  • Harder and more durable than marble
  • Heat resistant natural stone surface
  • Requires sealing — similar to granite
  • Available in whites, grays, and warm tones

Common Questions

Countertop FAQ

Can you replace just the countertops without touching the cabinets?

+
Absolutely — countertop-only replacements are one of our most requested services. It's one of the most effective ways to refresh a kitchen without a full cabinet project. We handle material selection, templating, fabrication coordination, and installation. Stop by our Holiday showroom or call (727) 849-3388 to get a quote.

Is quartz or granite better for a Florida kitchen?

+
Both perform well, but quartz has some real advantages in Florida's climate. It's non-porous, so humidity doesn't affect it and spills don't penetrate the surface — no sealing required. Granite is beautiful and completely natural, but does need periodic sealing, especially in humid conditions. Quartz is our most popular countertop material in Pasco and Pinellas County homes, though the right answer depends on your priorities. Come in and compare samples side by side.

Do you carry full slabs or just samples?

+
We keep quartz samples in our Holiday showroom — so you can see and compare colors, finishes, and veining in person under real lighting. We don't carry full slabs on-site, but we work with quality stone yards that stock quartz, granite, quartzite, marble, porcelain, and more. Once you've chosen a direction, we coordinate with our stone yard partners and can arrange for you to view the actual slab before it's cut.

How much does countertop installation cost in Holiday, FL?

+
Most kitchen countertop replacements in the Holiday and Pasco County area run between $2,500 and $6,500 installed, depending on square footage and material. Quartz typically falls in the $55–$95 per square foot installed range; granite varies more based on the specific slab. The best way to get an accurate number is to come by with your measurements — or let us come measure. We give straight quotes with no guesswork.

Do you do bathroom vanity countertops too?

+
Yes — bathroom countertops and vanity tops are a standard part of our work. We can do a countertop-only refresh or coordinate the full vanity cabinet, countertop, and hardware as a single project. The same quartz and granite options available for kitchens are available for bathrooms. See our bathroom remodeling page for more.

Quartz Countertop Installation in Holiday & Pasco County

Quartz has become the most popular countertop material in Pasco and Pinellas County kitchens — and for practical reasons that go beyond aesthetics. Florida's humidity, bright sun through kitchen windows, and the wear of a busy household all make quartz's non-porous, low-maintenance surface an easy choice for homeowners who want something that looks great and stays that way without a lot of upkeep.

We carry a wide range of quartz samples in our Holiday showroom — from clean white and soft gray to heavily veined and bold options that mimic the look of marble or quartzite. Seeing samples in person alongside your cabinet choice is the only way to make a decision you'll be happy with. Photos on a screen rarely tell the full story.

Granite & Quartzite for Holiday Area Homes

For homeowners who want natural stone, granite and quartzite both remain excellent choices. Granite's natural variation means every kitchen is genuinely one-of-a-kind — no two slabs are identical. Quartzite offers the dramatic veining and movement of marble with better durability and is a strong choice for homeowners who love that look but want a more forgiving surface in a working kitchen.

We work with stone yards that carry a broad selection across all material categories. If you have a specific look in mind — a particular color range, a veining style you've seen somewhere — bring us a photo. We can usually find something close through our stone yard partners. The best approach is always to start with a showroom visit, see our samples, and go from there.
